Best dim sum in the area. Authentic, great flavors, and I love that they still do the carts. Black bean spare ribs and turnip cakes are some of the best I've had. They're temporarily closed for a remodel, so I'll have to be patient for my dim sum fix until they reopen.

Nina and I had planned to have dim sum here today after reading a Chronicle article but when I arrived, fortunately a bit early, I found them closed. Checking their website I found that they closed temporarily April 1st for a interior remodel. There is no reopening date announced, which makes sense because remodeling almost always takes longer than expected.

One of the few places doing carts. You can really load up your table fast here. The dim sum here is very good. Service here is solid - team and ice water and no delay in getting our bill processed.

"I'm still only in Saigon. Every time I think I'm gonna wake up back in the jungle." - Apocalypse Now. Ok, Saigon, here we go! It's a Chinese dim sum place with a Vietnamese name. Why? I'm not sure. It's next to a storage place. It's across from a dog hotel and a dispensary. It's not far from Costco. It's near Daimo and the shopping center with Ranch 99 inside. Anyways. It's big! It's like a huge cafeteria inside, except nicer. Tons of seafood in big fish tanks at one end. Imagine a lot of tanks full of seafood... now double it. Frogs, lobsters, all kinds of stuff. Dim sum! They got it. All kinds. They have a normal menu also with all kinds of Chinese dishes on it. When I went it was packed with Chinese people. Crowded! Very happening. Dim sum ends at 2:30 maybe? That's what my friend told me. The outside could use a remodel. Needs some paint, etc. But who cares, you go for the food. They have parking in the lot, if it full there is lots of parking nearby. After you eat here you can go to Ranch 99 and go shopping. This place? I like it. The sesame balls were big and tasty. The har gow was good. The sweet rice was really good, served in a leaf wrapper. What else did we get? Some sort of dim sum, it was over a week ago when I went. Would go again. Would recommend. Thumbs up!
